After trying many different layout options, I have finally completed my poster for the 2026 Spring Portfolio Show. For my design, I decided to highlight both color and texture. The shades of blue represent our school colors, with the addition of green for a complementary color to help tie it all together. The hexagons are a design element that I learned in my first year layout course. I also really like the textured layer created to appear as if the poster is torn paper. I think small details such as this help to bring a composition to life.
