This week at Panther, I got to watch and observe the die-cut machine. This machine serves two purposes. Foil stamping and cutting. The paper is fed through the machine to first foil stamp the logo, and then goes back through again to make all cuts necessary. This specific project was an order for 450 folders. Because these were folders, once done with cutting, they will be transferred to yet another machine to make every fold needed. Automated machines in the print production industry make doing large jobs such as this one much easier than having to do it all by hand.
