Typography

Typography has recently become something that intrigues me. Before becoming a designer, this is something I would’ve never thought twice about. The other night, when picking an album to listen to, this one in particular caught my attention. This was my absolute favorite band throughout high school. The entire package design, layout, and cover are all text-driven. I looked up the artist to see if I could find information on this concept, and here’s what I found: “Inspired by the creative process of Amelia Meath and Nick Sanborn, Public-Library created an analog and layered typographic approach. Each piece contains multiple iterations and sketches, while building towards a singular result.”

The entire concept is super simple, but I think that’s what makes it interesting. Because all of this text was on print, it creates a unique layered effect.
