This week in layout, we finally printed our magazine, which we designed last semester. It’s really cool to finally see all of our hard work in action. One obstacle that I had to learn to overcome was learning that print will always print darker than what we see on screen. To address this, I took the photos I was having trouble with and adjusted the levels in Photoshop to lighten their appearance. Overall, after these minor adjustments, I was pretty satisfied with the outcome of my printed magazine. Next, I am looking forward to completing the final step, which is cutting and folding.
