HDR Photography

One of the many new things I have learned in class recently is HDR Photography, which stands for high dynamic range. This type of photography consists of taking several images of the same subject at different exposures, combined into one balanced image. Before taking this course, I had no idea such a thing existed. I had never considered multiple photos with varying exposures layered on top of each other. But knowing what I do now, it makes total sense. After some practice, I feel like I’ve gained a pretty decent understanding of this practice, and I am looking forward to incorporating HDR imagery into my upcoming projects. Here are just a few HDR images I captured for photography class.
