I have always been greatly inspired and influenced by the music I listen to and the artists I follow. Ever since I was a young teenager, I’ve felt a deep connection to the artist Lorde. Her music perfectly captures all the feelings and experiences from adolescence, all the way to adulthood. Over the Summer, Lorde returned with her highly anticipated fourth studio album. Lorde only steps back into the spotlight to release new music once every four years. So this is always a huge deal for me. The title of this album is “Virgin”. This is a take on purity and rebirth, as described by Lorde herself.

The album cover reveals an X-ray image of Lorde’s pelvis, indicating a real intimate and personal feel through these collections of songs. Over the Summer, I created many designs and merchandise ideas that tie into the theme’s of the album. A simple but striking Times New Roman font with clean imagery was used to promote this album, which I tied into all of my designs.

I have a lot of fun making prototypes of Vinyl/CD/and cassette. I hope to one day be able to do this as a full-time job!
