This week in class, we had the opportunity to tour JDS Industries, a company completely dedicated to wholesale products. Prior to yesterday, I had no idea that JDS offers many different departments. I guess I just imagined one big warehouse, but they actually have a team of designers who create their own graphics. It was also helpful to know that many past Southeast Tech students are currently employed with JDS.

I really enjoyed looking through many of the different samples available through JDS. I’m super interested in browsing through their entire catalog so I can start doing some design work on my own. I think the water bottles are among my favorites. As someone who doesn’t go anywhere without my water bottle, I think it’s super cool to add something customizable, like laser engraving. Overall I really enjoyed this visit and could differently see myself working for a company such as JDS.
