So far, I have really enjoyed laser engraving. I think it’s such a unique way to personalize things. In class, we are working on making wooden ornaments of various Southeast Tech buildings.

I started by taking a photo of the exterior of The Hub building.

From here, I brought it into Illustrator to trace the building and each shape. Although I am not yet fully complete, I am pretty satisfied with the outcome so far. I have yet to introduce various shades of black and grey for shading for a more realistic look. I really enjoy doing projects like this and hope to do more in the future.
