The latest technique I have learned in my photography course is light painting. This consists of positioning your subjects in a dark area with a long camera exposure; I did 20 seconds. During those 20 seconds, I traced my objects with a flashlight. Pictured above is the result, which I was super happy with. I wanted to capture my everyday essentials. My hat, waterbottle, and laptop. Three things I never leave the house without. I’m looking forward to trying out even more subjects for light painting, as this is a super interesting technique that I had never heard of before this assignment.
