Last week, our class had a volunteer opportunity to help rake leaves throughout our city. Surprisingly, I actually had a lot of fun doing this. Not only is Fall my favorite season, but it was also a really good bonding activity for our class. I feel like I’m starting to get to know the media design crew a lot more and I feel like we’ve created a really good community a Southeast Tech.

Afterward, the entire class went out for bagels and coffee, which was a great idea. I really love my fellow Graphic Designers and hope to be able to do more volunteer opportunities in the future. It felt good being able to help out people who may not be able to take care of their lawn.
